Among the many varieties of collectible Trilobites from Morocco, the Hollardops variety might be one of the most elegant. Previously known by the name Metacanthina, members of this group feature two long genal spines and multiple smaller pygidial ones. This black example is perched as if in motion on a matrix of gray rock. The major features of the ancient marine creature are clearly visible on this excellent fossil.
