This unusual Petrified Wood sphere is "Gabb's Wood" from Nevada and features white, black and brown hues amid a swirling ringed patterning. This example, just slightly smaller than a baseball, is complex and dynamic in appearance. The combination of the uncommon wood in this lapidary form is very appealing.
