This photo was printed during the time when Alan Ross was initialing the photos and they were for sale in the Ansel Adams gallery. At one point, Adams was doing photography workshops in the gallery. The gallery believes that this copy was purchased during one of those sessions when both Adams and Ross were there and they both signed it at that time.
