This medium sized box displays a unique combination of Dinosaur Bone and Gedrite. The Dinosaur Bone yields from the world famous locality of Utah and displays the prized red hue. When the bone fossilized, it was replaced by silica creating an extremely well preserved, "trabecular" structure showcasing the complex internal vascular network of the once organic material. The Dinosaur Bone lid has been cut, polished and matched to create this finished product. Gedrite is formed as prismatic crystals, which come to life in this material as bright flashes of blue. The main body color is black and gray, which allows the stone's natural luster to take center stage. All sides have been matched perfectly to create this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Additionally, the box can act as a humidor, as it is lined with Spanish Cedar. Two Gold-plated brass hinges round out the decorative item signed by the artist with number "0591" on the bottom and finished with felt feet. This impressive keepsake box is in pristine condition and accompanied by a velvet lined wooden outer box.
