This fancy Pink Sapphire from Mozambique exhibits a bold and vivid pink hue, making it a remarkable example of the Corundum species. Weighing just over 1 carat, the sharp emerald-shaped stone features classic step-cut faceting and presents with an excellent luster. The dazzler is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) report stating no indications of heat, a rarity in the trade, given that most Pink Sapphires commonly undergo heat treatment to enhance color and appearance. Eye-clean with excellent brilliance, the highly saturated color is likely attributed to the presence of Chromium, causing a strong red fluorescence when viewed under Ultraviolet light. There are a few small nicks to the culet and girdle, and a few crystal inclusions are visible under magnification; otherwise, this stone is in very good condition. A true collector's gem, this scarce and stunning Pink Sapphire presents an exceptional opportunity to own a rare member of the coveted 'Big Three' gemstones.
