This adorable and idyllic little end-cut meteorite represents the Bechar 006 variety and is lunar in origin. A feldspathic breccia from the Moon, such material was found in Algeria in 2022. Weighing 56.2 grams, this beautiful small offering boasts a relatively large polished window face with black and white aspects that result in the overall pleasing grayish coloration. Numerous clasts make the display surface amazing, and the contrasting mountainous exterior exhibits a light orangey color with lighter patches of minerals. The duality of the end cut shape, coupled with its inherent aesthetics, combine in a collectible meteorite.
