Almost beyond description, this 'super-inflated' end cut specimen represents NWA 16894, which is a lunar meteorite found in 2023. An uncommon basaltic breccia, of which there are only 22 known, this piece weighs 259.8 grams, which is quite significant when considering the Total Known Weight of the variety is only 1,230 grams. The ideal collector specimen in terms of a piece of the Moon, the rock boasts a beautiful cut and polished display face featuring a dark charcoal background with an array of contrasting stark white clasts of various shapes and sizes. The natural exterior has a rather mountainous form and is primarily dull black in color with the exception of a single, broad, orangey banding over a section of the bumpy outside of this absolutely extraordinary, collectible meteorite.
