A most intriguing specimen from a meteorite with a quite interesting story, this piece of the Tucson Ring represents the ungrouped Iron found in 1850 with a total known weight of 975 kilograms. One of several masses containing Brezinaite, a rare mineral, composed of Chromium and Sulphur, found near the Sierra de la Madera in Sonora, Mexico, then taken to Tucson, Arizona, this amazing "ringed" piece of meteorite was actually originally used as an anvil in a blacksmith shop. This tiny fragment of the singular material is metallic and shiny, weighing 2.91 grams. The silver reflective piece is tiny but has one big story behind it!
