The arrangement of the two crystals in this Fluorite and Calcite specimen is delightfully versatile for display, depending on which crystal one wants to emphasize. The Fluorite itself is perched on the side of the Calcite, with its best face directed in the same direction of the Calcite's termination. The zoning in the Fluorite is extremely sharp, in Spanish fashion: the body of the crystal has swirls of purple and blue, and a sharp single cubic phantom lies in the center, stark purple, almost black. The Calcite is a huge scalenohedron, unusual for the locality, and has a surprisingly good level of translucency under the surface. Overall, this specimen has aesthetics not often seen in a piece this large, and can be displayed in any way that suits your fancy.

More Information: This specimen is in excellent condition, especially for the size. It appears to have some stabilization, but no actual repairs.
