Moldavite is a variety of impactite that occurred as the result of a meteorite hitting the Earth. The material is highly prized and even used in jewelry applications. Top quality specimens, especially those over 8 grams, are really valuable, and Besednice examples free of damage command a premium. This spectacular offering from a significant private collection weighs 10 grams and displays both exceptional shape and superb color.
