This Angelite specimen is as "gemmy" as it gets: the singular, remarkably tabular crystal peaks into two, sharp terminations, with many shimmering vertical striations running up the length of the crystal into these terminations. The body of the Anglesite crystal is mostly transparent and near-colorless (with a tint of yellow), but the standout feature of this example is the two extremely sharp, highlighter-yellow zones, or phantoms, that strike across the center of the crystal. These two narrow but bright zones mirror the shape of the overall crystal's termination.
