Description
Muonionalusta Meteorite PenIron, IVA
Norrbottens, Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E)
Found: 1906
This functional fountain pen, having been elegantly designed and crafted, stands as a symbol of sophistication and the bygone era of personal correspondence. Fashioned out of a piece of the Muonionalusta Meteorite, which was found in Sweden in 1906, this particular meteorite is one of the most appealing as it exhibits a very pronounced Widmanstätten cross-hatched pattern. The barrel showcases this astounding design in a golden hue, enhanced by acid etching and Rhodium plating for enduring elegance. The refillable ink feed system consists of a "Iridium Point Germany" nib, measuring 0.66 inches (1.7 cm), with the section measuring 0.78 inches (2 cm). The barrel measures 3.22 inches (8.2 cm), and the cap is a contrasting silver hue with intricate engravings. This pen is in excellent condition and is an elegant writing tool for any "out of this world" wordsmith to cherish, and it will remain sustainable in this day and age with a refillable converter.
Overall Measurements: 5.73 x 0.68 x 0.59 inches (14.56 x 1.72 x 1.50 cm)
Note: The meteorite pictured does not accompany the meteorite pen.
