This Dinosaur claw from Suchomimus is all-natural, with no visible restoration. The core from the Early Cretaceous deposits out of the Elrhaz Formation in Niger, West Africa, this wonderful, solid fossil features an excellent shape, a pronounced curvature, and pair of deep blood grooves, with one side having a significant channel. Measuring 3.3 inches (8.4 cm) in straight-line length, this is quite sizable and definitely imposing. A grayish-taupe bodycolor adds a further appeal to the fine prehistoric remnant, which is virtually complete with only some minor wear to the tip. An opening with a relatively deep cavity defines the wide end of the claw with a texture featuring an expected visual porosity. Any Dinosaur claw is an inherent rarity, and this example is an upper-echelon one.
