The elongated lozenge form of fossilized tree resin is fashioned into a polished cabochon with a pale yellowish coloration and water clarity. The specimen weighs 3 grams and is host to an array of great insects including a prominent spider which definitely makes this piece very special. Another singular insect and two long disjointed fibrous members are visible in this fine representation of the material from the Dominican Republic. Just in time for Halloween, the spider exhibits 'classic' limbs and body.
