Found in Western Sahara in 2018, the meteorite Lahmada 020 represents a feldspathic breccia, and it is, of course, a lunar example. Weighing 691.5 grams, this glorious end cut is simply attractive. One sizable polished face shows the muted composition inside the rock from space and the rough exterior as a mountainous planetary texture. The piece is rather substantial and a most unusual example of a Moon rock that is an ideal collector specimen. The blend of green, gray, and taupe hues throughout the rock provides a visually-stunning offering that represents an uncommon feldspathic regolith melt breccia. The smooth window face evidences both a fine-grained composition as well as significant colorful clasts.
