This Blue Topaz gemstone is striking, not only for its popular Swiss Blue hue, but also because it weighs just over 119 carats. The stone features a lovely and appealing very slightly greenish blue hue, which is one of the most desirable colors found in all gemstones. This stone has been cut into a chic rectangular emerald-cut shape with minimal step-cut faceting. The vibrant stone is eye-clean and in pristine condition; due to the size of the stone and the cut, the stone is slightly windowed but still has excellent brilliance and light return. Topaz is commonly irradiated to achieve this unique color and clarity, and this one should be prized for the end result, which is striking, to say the least. Massive gemstones of this caliber are always worthy of note and certainly should always be considered for acquisition.
