Two Large Costa Rica Vessels
c. 1000 - 1400 AD

One a large baluster shape urn with flaring foot and neck. Three felines with curling tails raised in high relief from shoulder to neck. One side has faint remains of wax resist designs in black on red-brown. The other is a large blackware boot-shaped urn with loop handles at each end. Both in very good, intact condition.
