The fist is mightier than the gun in this dramatic scene by Joseph Szokoli. A pulp cover artist for Harry Donenfeld's Culture and Trojan lines, Szokoli is best remembered today as the illustrator who reworked a number of paintings by H.J. Ward for their second usages.
