Two Dayak Figures
Borneo, Indonesia, First half of the 20th century

One a standing female holding a covered box container, carved in a naturalistic style; the other a figure with flexed legs and arms, having a demonic face, carved in a faceted, angular style. Both weathered wood, in good condition appropriate for age, mediums and use outdoors.
