Condition Report*: Minor frame abrasions along top, left and bottom extreme edges; small surface blemishes along edges visible under raking light, which are most likely raised nailheads in panel support under canvas; uneven, discolored varnish layer visible in man's right elbow; under UV exam, there appears to be inpainting along top, left and right extreme edges, particularly left half of top edge and bottom half of left edge, multiple spots in and along man's pants, an approx. 4-1/2 inches long vertical line along upper center left edge, and an approx. 8 inches long horizontal line through man's forehead at center top edge.
