A Maya Cylinder Vase
Ulua Valley, Honduras, Late Classic, c. 600 - 850 AD

Orange earthenware on three low tabular feet, painted in red and black in bold graphic designs including what appear to be feet, eyes, stingers, and other images difficult to decipher. In good condition, assembled from approximately eight large pieces with infill and paint over the break lines.
