This model was sculpted by Pocock in the 1940s and was featured as a frontispiece to H.C. Bainbridge's book "Peter Carl Fabergé" in 1949. Another example was sold, Bamford's Auctioneers & Valuers, Derby, October 31, 2023, lot 1242.
