Thomas Whitehouse, Rochester, New York;
By descent to the present owner.
Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. Under UV exam, there appears to be a 1 x 1 1/2 inch area of inpaint in the boat in the lower right corner. Moderate craquelure throughout, with accompanying flecks of loss in the lower right quadrant. Stretcher bar lines visible. A few tiny red spots of surface soiling along the extreme right edge. 1/4 inch dot of surface soiling along the lower center edge.
