Condition Report*:
In very good overall condition, showing light wear consistent with age and gentle household use. The tabletop displays minimal edge wear, with a small stain toward the middle-back, possibly from water or ink, and an L-shaped stain to the right side. An area of possible filled material is present above the latter, the largest section measuring approximately six inches along the rear edge. The drawers in good functional condition, with a small loss and subsequent scratches to the side of the bottom drawer and a thin scuff, about 2½ inches long, along the interior front edge of the drawer cavity. Traces of household paint appear along the rear top and bottom edges and near the mounting holes, as expected. Mounting holes show minor associated losses, none visible when installed or affecting stability. The underside exhibits faint scuffs. Overall, an attractive and sturdy example with wear commensurate with age and careful domestic use.
