Condition Report*:
Both chairs present well overall, in good original condition and showing light wear consistent with age and gentle household use. Each exhibits minor traces of household paint and faint staining, with small, scattered scuffs and marks to the wood surfaces. The first chair shows light wear to the top of the backrest, a faint split to the reverse at the proper right side, and a minute loss where the second dowel from the right connects the backrest. The grass seat displays expected fraying and two localized breaks to the cording - one slightly off center and another at the proper right hole - none affecting use; the underside shows a further break at the proper left, with traces of adhesive residue around leg joints and small clustered impressions to the front left and rear right legs. The second chair shows a small scuff to the proper right edge and a very small loss to the top center of the backrest; the support dowels appear to have a possible later touch-up or stain. The seat shows scattered fraying and two broken or loosened cords, most notably at the proper left hole and underside, again without impacting stability or usability.
