TATS CRU is a legendary Bronx-based graffiti art collective that emerged in the 1980s, evolving from its original incarnation as TAT CRU into a group of professional muralists renowned for their dynamic New York City-style graffiti. Founded by artists Bio, BG183, and Nicer-alongside early members Brim and Mack-the group's name, "TATS," stands for "Top Artistic Talents," a nod to their commitment to precision and technical excellence. Over the decades, TATS CRU has built a reputation for seamlessly transforming graffiti aesthetics into expansive public artworks, earning them the moniker "The Mural Kings" from institutions like Wynwood Walls. Today, the collective continues to thrive, with Bio, BG183, and Nicer at its core, and contributions from celebrated artists such as Crash, HOW, and NOSM, as they collaborate with corporations, musicians, and cultural organizations around the world.
