Mosaic has existed as an art form for thousands of years, but only now has it depicted objects like popular sneakers, cartoon superheroes, and Star Wars Stormtroopers, all at the hands of Jason Dussault. Dussault's passion for mosaic comes from his desire to reimagine something so nostalgic and iconographic. Curator Ben Moore called on Dussault to create this piece for Art Wars, a 2013 charity fundraiser at Saatchi Gallery.
