PRIVATE WEST COAST COLLECTION
Inclined binocular head with calibrated interpupillary adjustment and adjustable left eyepiece. 4 pairs of oculars: 6x, 8x periplan, 10x Periplan, 12x Periplan. Brightfield quadruple revolving nosepiece on slide carrier for interchangability. Objectives: "1h" 3.5x/0.10n.a.; 10x/0.25;"4b" 25x/0.50; 40x/0.65. Large mechanical stage with scales and verniers. Interchangeable substage No. 78 with Berek two-diaphragm brightfield condenser. Built-in illuminator with 6v 5a bulb, Nr. 31194 50VA 120/220V 3.5 - 9v". Transformer has plug selectable outputs of 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6 volts. Simple monocular phototube. This is the early, more desirable model of the DIALUX with the "T" shaped rather than triangular foot. Ca. 1954. Fitted mahogany case with original key.
