A PAIR OF SIOUX BEADED HIDE MOCCASINS AND MATCHED LEGGINGS
c. 1890 sinew sewn and lane-stitched in various shades of glass seed beads, each decorated with geometric motifs, the moccasins with yellow ochre pigment and buffalo rawhide soles; the leggings with hide fringe, canvas uppers and old tag attached, inscribed Donors, Frances and Elsie Lammerts and Henry M.
