This Alaskan Gold nugget is full of numerous cavities exhibiting reddish material. The one visible oddity of this example consists of a 'stud' on the backside that looks like a piece of golden metal in the middle of the piece. Alluvial action has tumbled the example, which boasts a classic brassy golden-colored hue. Weighing 58 grams (1.86 oz t), this is complex in appearance with a pleasant contrast of gold and red colors.
