Description

Set of 4 Paleontology Books

This offering consists of an unrelated set of 4 historical volumes by the likes of legendary authors like Alfred Sherwood Romer, Charles Darwin, Hervey Woodburn Shimer and James D. Dana. Man and the Vertebrates (Romer) is a later reprint in very good condition having been sourced from a library. The Origin of Species (Darwin) is beyond a classic and also in very good condition. An Introduction to the Study of Fossils (Shimer) is again in very good condition but has the odd feature of pages not having been cut through. The Revised Text Book of Geology (Dana) is in fair condition. This quartet of books offers some rather old dates, noteworthy authors, relevant topics, and just inherent historical value.

Charles Darwin. Origin of Species. New York & Boston: HM Caldwell, no date [but circa 1890s]. [inscribed].
