P. Schaeffer - Original Pulp Painting (1915-1920). This is believed to be an early cover painting for a sports pulp magazine. There are a few notations to the back of the canvas, but none that are decipherable relate to the artist or publication. Painted in oil on canvas it measures 30 x 20, and is signed lower right.
