Alton Kelley is psychedelic rock album and poster artist well known for his collaborative work with his partner Stanley "Mouse" Miller. The duo worked with bands such as Journey, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, and the Grateful Dead, producing some of the most iconic and sought-after imagery of the 60s and 70s. The present work signed by Kelley brings together Grateful Dead and the symbolic imagery of the west collaged around ambigram that was used in the 1970's album American Beauty.
