Autograph letter signed, two pages [one sheet, folded] Renoir writes that he went to the village of Le Portel and worries that because it is on a high cliff it could be too dangerous for the little one. He implores her to try to get some exercise. I fear that your weight will harm you. I confess that it's not easy to lose weight, but I don't want you to become sick before you age. [Aline had diabetes.] In the balance of the letter he discusses Pierrot's non-healing wound and his confidence in Latty [Dr. Latty], and his upcoming rendezvous with his wife in Paris.
