A captivating display of color shimmers across this botryoidal Goethite specimen from Morocco. Metallic luster enhances the undulating surface, where rounded formations reflect hues of indigo, teal, violet, and bronze in ever-changing light. The iridescence results from thin-film interference along the mineral's oxidized surface, a phenomenon prized by collectors of aesthetic Iron Oxides. Distinct bubbly textures and high contrast between metallic and matte zones contribute to strong three-dimensional character.
