This example of fossilized shark tooth representing the famed Megalodon species measures well over 3 inches (8 cm) on edge and features a subtle overall coloration of brown, tan, and gray hues over each part - root, bourlette, and enamel - of the chondrichthyan dentition. The nearly pristine offering has a wonderful overall condition, slight curvature of its form, and excellent serrations up and down its sides of the fossil from the Morgan River in South Carolina. This is a nice tooth with numerous outstanding attributes.
