This captivating neon blue gem is a popular version of the mineral Apatite. Apatite is not only the primary mineral component of human bone and teeth but has been utilized for centuries for a variety of industrial, agricultural, and ornamental purposes. With a lovely slightly greenish blue hue, this pleasing round stone nearly rivals the prized Paraiba Tourmalines for their bright color, though there are a few abrasions to the girdle, and the culet does exhibit a visible nick. Nonetheless, this slightly included gem is still mesmerizing, and the excellent color is accented beautifully by expertly cut brilliant facets.
