The pitcher made by the Zaanlandse Zilversmederijen firm, body heavily decorated with chased repoussé foliage and scrollwork on pebbled ground with phoenix surrounded by foliage to front, stylized sea serpent handle, side depicting two Old Dutch scenes of a doctor pulling tooth among onlookers and a group of street musicians.
