Sourced from the renowned Minas Gerais region of Brazil, celebrated for producing some of the world's finest Quartz and Amethyst specimens, this lovely Pink Amethyst presents with a highly sculpture form and textual complexity. Somewhat heart-shaped, the mineral displays an undulating, organic form, seamlessly blending elegant polished sections with the natural crystalline drusy pockets. The primary display face is comprised of dozens of large cavities and voids covered in hundreds of sharp and highly lustrous Quartz microcrystal points. The formations are awe-inspiring, creating dynamic movement as the light dances across each crystal beautifully. The color varies across the rolling surface but is primarily a fine purplish-pink hue, not as commonly seen as its purple Amethyst counterpart. The reverse features an almost full polish with a highly saturated pink hue. The dichotomy between the smooth reverse and the untouched crystalline formations is simply striking. Presented on a custom acrylic base with a metal pin mount, this specimen will be effortlessly displayed, allowing for a 360-degree appreciation of its natural contours and light-catching shimmer effect. The highly dramatic form is in excellent condition and will make a mesmerizing focal point in any space.
