A commanding composition by Helmut Wolf, this sculpture unites two extraordinary minerals in a harmonious display of transparency and color. The work features a large slab of Rock Crystal Quartz, polished to perfection on both faces while retaining a natural boulder edge along one side, preserving the integrity of the original crystal formation. The Quartz rests on a massive base of vivid purple Charoite, its surface exhibiting characteristic chatoyant swirls with Aegirine and Tinaksite inclusions. Sourced from Siberia, such large specimens of Charoite are now exceedingly rare and virtually unobtainable in the modern market. A masterful lapidary composition, showcasing Wolf's renowned precision and sensitivity to material-a powerful statement piece blending geological grandeur with sculptural refinement.
