This rustic slab of the famous Muonionalusta Meteorite exhibits a natural free-form shape that gives the massive example a very aesthetic aspect. The large slice weighs a whopping 730 grams and displays bold Widmanstätten patterning over both sides of the thin, yet robust, representation. The jagged edge has a sharp texture, and the intense surfaces contain incredible cross-hatching, with a very rugged tactile feel. This piece of the Swedish octahedrite, found in 1906, likely dates back to a fall about a million years ago.
