It seems "Nova" varieties are becoming more collectible. In reality, the designation relates to approved and formal names assigned by the Nomenclature Committee of the Meteoritical Society but that either do not have GPS coordinates or the location is being kept secret. The Nova 065 Meteorite was found in 2016 in an unknown locality with Total Known Weight of 1,144 grams. A decorated military veteran on a military base discovered the angular stone with fusion crust on one side exhibiting deep, rather "fluted" regmaglypts. Chondrules of various sizes and colors are visible on the surface of the display specimen. A most significant factor about this representation is that it is the MAIN MASS of the variety, and it is likely no other fragments will be recovered in the future as the locality has been turned into a bombing range! Clearly, the individual weighing 1,088 grams is the majority of the TKW of this classification of meteorite.
