Zincolivenite specimens from the Tsumeb Mine, though relatively uncommon for the locality, are considered world-class and sought after for the depth of their color and vitreous crystallizations. As an excellent depiction of these traits, the interior of this small cabinet specimen is completely lined by sharply-terminated, hunter-green Zincolivenite. Many of the crystals in this piece are elongated, which is an unusual characteristic for the species. The glassy luster and translucence of each crystal makes the richly green vug cascade in a field of dazzling flashes.
