Tall-standing and completely free of any matrix, this specimen is a shining example of the superb Descloizite specimens to come from the Berg Aukas Mine-arguably one of the best localities for the species. The entire specimen consists of three columns that bristle with tightly interwoven groups of sharp, tabular Descloizite crystals (up to 0.8 centimeters) that have an almost foliaceous arrangement. Each crystal has a rich red-brown color and a vitreous luster that gives the specimen a nice shimmering effect. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
