One exceptionally beautiful slab of Petrified Elm Wood from the Pacific Northwest, this superb material represents the Ulmus variety from the renowned "Vantage" locality. The mottled surface is a myriad of creamy and earthy hues, which are all punctuated by swirling, circular ring patterns giving the relatively massive slice a great deal of character. Minor sealed surface fractures emanate from the complex core. Measuring 15 inches (38 cm) in diameter, this piece is full of complementary colors that work magically together.
