This striking Gold Crystal weighs a robust 118.3 grams (3.80 oz t) and is so much more than just a Gold nugget. Actually, just a waterworn, single hoppered crystal, this vibrant golden form has been smoothed by alluvial action, but the internal features are still sharp, complex, and attractive. Another former member of the Roraima Shield Collection, the specimen offers a rarity and value exponentially beyond its sheer weight in Gold. The combination of shape, size, and luster make this something very uncommon as well as very special. The convex exterior is mainly smooth and consistent, whereas the concave interior boasts a striated patterning consistent with the hoppered nature of this specimen. Of singular nature in its own way, this Crystallized Gold from Venezuela is much more than just a nugget.
