The single Fluorite crystal on the top side of this specimen (up to 4.4 centimeters) has an extremely rich purple hue that stands out nicely against the radiant matrix of Quartz points, Calcite scalenohedrons, and lustrous Pyrite cubes. Almost every one of the Fluorite's crystal faces are covered in a slew of stepped growths, further embellishing its strong glassy luster. If you look more closely, the Fluorite's stepped exterior is actually colorless, enveloping the non-stepped purple zoning throughout the Fluorite's center. Many of the sharper Pyrite crystals are tucked away in the nooks and crannies of the matrix, a few of which have a metallic brassy-orange surface. This piece comes with an acrylic base.
