Description
HeulanditeJalgaon District, Nashik Division, Maharashtra, India
18 x 8 x 5 cm (7.09 x 3.15 x 1.97 in)
A sculptural tower that features multiple well-formed, sizable crystals of Heulandite, reaching 6.8 centimeters across, that have a sharp fan-like curvature, each stacked neatly atop one another. Associations of minor, pearlescent Stilbite blades are scattered across the Heulandite, providing a subtle contrast of light peach against the Heulandite's richer brick-red hue. This fantastic specimen was acquired by Dan during his attendance of the Dallas Mineralogical Symposium back in 2016. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
From the collection of Daniel "Dan" R. Kennedy.
More Information: This piece is in excellent condition with one repair on the bottommost crystal.
