A somewhat unusual example of Sikhote-Alin material from the famous witnessed fall of 1947, at least in terms of shape, this specimen boasts an odd "knob" at one end of the metallic form. Weighing some 399 grams, this is a relatively larger piece of the iconic iron variety. Texturally mottled over the surface, this highly dimensional representation exhibits a dull luster and lots of exterior complexity. The strange protrusion does add an additional level of intrigue to this meteorite which has a very rustic appearance.
Measurements: 3.64 x 2.12 x 1.56 inches (9.25 x 5.39 x 3.97 cm), weighs 398.6 grams
