Condition Report*:
On stable cradled panel. Extremely minor frame abrasion at upper edge. Slight yellowing to the varnish layer. A few instances of very finely patterned craquelure, apparently stabilized beneath the varnish layer. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Scattered brushy retouching at edges, particularly in the lower right corner. A few finely applied dots and dashes of retouching to the barricade and the two leftmost figures.
